Adrian Beltre tied a playoff game record with three home runs and Matt Harrison tossed five frames of two-run ball as the Texas Rangers topped the Tampa Rays 4-3 in Tuesday's game four of the ALDS.

The Rangers advanced to the ALCS with the 3-1 series win, including two straight on their home field, and will take on the winner of the Yanks-Tigers series.

Beltre went yard in the third, fourth and seventh innings, all solo shots, giving him four RBI for the series and tying players like Babe Ruth for the record for homers in a postseason game.

Ian Kinsler also knocked in a run and scored a run for Texas. Casey Kotchman collected two hits and drove in a pair of runs for the Rays, while Sean Rodriguez scored all three Tampa Bay runs.

Jeremy Hellickson took the loss for Tampa, allowing three runs in just four innings.

Neftali Perez notched his third save of the series despite allowing a run in the ninth.
