Senior quarterback Brandon Weeden completed 31-of-37 passes for 423 yards and five touchdowns and the Oklahoma State Cowboys strengthened their bid for the BCS National title with a 66-6 rout against the Texas Tech Raiders Saturday at Jones AT&T Stadium.

Oklahoma State continued its surge towards the national championship as Weeden effortlessly ripped apart the Raiders' hapless defense.

Weeden, who already covered 3212 passing yard with 26 TDs and 9 interception going into the match, came through with three TD passes in the first half and two more in the second to spearhead a potent Cowboys offense in the match.

Oklahoma State's running game was also on display Saturday with sophomore running back Joseph Randle leading the way with three touchdowns.

Texas Tech only score came early in the third quarter when wideout Cornelius Douglas scored a 37-yard fumble return to make it a 49-6 contest.

After that, the Cowboys added two more touchdowns and came away with a 60-point win.

Raiders junior quarterback Seth Doege went 25-for-43 for 169 yards with no touchdown and an interception.

Oklahoma State, which remains undefeated in 10 games (7-0 in Big 12), have their last two games with Illinois and Oklahoma posing significant threat to their BCS title aspirations.

The Cowboys will visit Illinois on Nov. 18 and take on Oklahoma in their pivotal Big 12 game on Dec. 3.
