Coming off two straight losses, the Pittsburgh Panthers vented their frustration on the No. 16 South Florida with Ray Graham powering the rout of the Bulls at Heinz Field.

The speedy Graham shattered the Bulls defense and ran for 226 yards and two scores in Thursday night's 44-17 triumph.

Tino Sunseri also stepped up, completing 22-of-33 passes for 216 yards and one score for the Panthers (3-2, 1-0 Big East), who avoided a third straight loss after crushing setbacks to Iowa and Notre Dame.

Sunseri also had a TD on the ground for the Panthers, who continued their rampage in the fourth quarter with Graham running for an eight-yard TD run.

Pitt was up 20-17 at halftime and took a 34-17 lead into the final stanza.

B.J. Daniels threw for 223 yards on an 18-of-36 completion for the Bulls (4-1, 0-1), who were the last remaining unbeaten team in the Big East.

It marked the fourth straight triumph by Pitt in its all-time encounters with South Florida.

The Panthers lead the series 6-3.
