Former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky posted bail and was released from Centre County jail.

Sandusky spent about 20 hours in jail and was escorted to his home where he will wear an electronic monitoring device.

Sandusky posted the $250,000 bail set by Senior District Judge Robert E. Scott by using $200,000 worth of equity in his home and $50,000 cash according to his attorney Joseph Amendola.

New charges were filed against Sanduksy Wednesday alleging he sexually abused two more boys. Sandusky had already been charged with sexually abusing eight boys over 15 years on Nov. 5.

Amendola said Sandusky maintains his innocence.

One of the new alleged victims testified before a Grand Jury that he was sexually assaulted repeatedly in a basement bedroom in Sandusky's home. The victim said he once cried out for help, knowing that Sandusky's wife, Dorothy, was in the house. He told the grand jury that no one responded to his cries.

Dorothy Sandusky released a statement Wednesday.

"As the mother of six children, I have been devastated by these accusations," she said. "I am also angry about these false accusations that such a terrible incident ever occurred in my home."
