Clemson kept itsimmaculate record alive Saturday as sophomore quarterback Tajh Boyd threw 16-for-26 for 283 yards with two scores to help his Tigers demolish Boston College, 36-14 at Memorial Stadium.

Clemson remained undefeated this season after the Tigers overwhelmed the Boston College in Saturday's ACC clash.

Boyd, with 1,459 yards with 14 touchdowns and just two interceptions in six games, once again led their high-octane offense against an inferior Eagles defense.

Boyd opened things up on a 3-yard hookup with wideout Jaron Brown. Minutes later, the sophomore quarterback padded the Tigers lead to 17-0 with a 14-yard TD run before the end of the first quarter.

Clemson was never threatened and rolled up a 29-14 bulge going into the final quarter.

Tigers kicker Chandler Catanzaro converted all his five attempts, while running back Andre Ellington capped his team's onslaught with a 25-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Ellington, who already rolled up 411 yards on 93 carries with four scores, rushed for 117 yards on 22 carries with one TD.

Eagles quarterback Chase Rettig threw 13-for-20 for 129 yards with one touchdown and an interception.

No. 8 Clemson preserved its superiority in the ACC with a 3-0 record (6-0 overall), while Boston College dropped to 0-3 in the conference (1-5 overall).
