Brock Osweiler hit Jamal Miles on an 11-yard TD pass in overtime, and the Arizona State Sun Devils shocked the No. 21 Missouri Tigers 37-30 Friday night at Sun Devil Stadium.

It was the third touchdown pass of the night for Osweiler, who was coming off a strong showing in the Sun Devils season-opener triumph over UC Davis.

ASU (2-0), which had an offensive explosion last year, averaging over 30.0 points per contest, dodged a loss after Missouri kicker Grant Ressel missed a potential winner- - a 48-yarder- - in the final seconds of regulation.

In the extra session, the Sun Devils got the ball to begin overtime and Osweiler found Miles on a swing pass, with the junior receiver sprinting into the end zone to sending the "Black Out" crowd into a frenzy.

The Sun Devils, donning their new all-black uniforms for the first time, built a 30-16 lead behind Osweiler, who completed 24-of-32 passes for 353 yards and three TD.

Osweiler also carried the ball five times for 34 yards and a score for the victors, who finished the contest with 492 yards

Aaron Pflugrad had eight receptions for a career-high 180 yards and a pair of TDs, while Miles ended with six catches for 50 yards in the victory.

James Franklin, who almost single-handedly kept the Tigers (1-1) in the game, completed 26-of-42 passes for 319 yards and two touchdowns. The Tigers sophomore quarterback also carried the ball 27 times for 84 yards and a score.
