Detroit Tigers slugger Prince Fielder became a two-time winner of the Home Run Derby, slugging 12 round-trippers to outduel Blue Jays' star Jose Bautista in the final round.

Bautista slowed down, hitting 7 in the final round.

Fielder mentioned Ken Griffey Jr., a three-time winner of the event, as an inspiration.

"As a kid, he was the first person with an NBA Jam in their house," Fielder said of fellow multiple-time winner Ken Griffey Jr., "so my dad would let me go over and play video games all day. He always took care of me when I was a kid, so to be mentioned with him is real special."

Bautista was disappointed he ran out of steam in the final round.

"I'm just a little disappointed in myself," Bautista said, according to mlb.com. "I know what I'm capable of doing, and I didn't really execute. But I had a lot of fun doing it, and we're going to help a lot of people and a lot of great causes with the donations we were able to make."
