A jury has decided that legendary ex-MLB pitcher Roger Clemens didn't lie to Congress when he denied using performance-enhancing drugs.

Their decision ended a 10-week trial that followed a five-year investigation into the ex-Red Sox and Yankees hurler.

"I appreciate everyone that came in and spoke on my behalf to give their input ... it's been a hard five years and they have been great behind supporting their dad and my wife has been a rock behind us. [I also appreciate] all of our support in Houston. And all you media guys that have followed me and know me ...," Clemens said, choking up just before ending his brief comments on the courthouse steps.

Clemens, 49, was accused of perjury, making false statements and obstructing Congress when he testified back in February 2008.

He has repeatedly denied used steroids and human growth hormone during a remarkable 24-year pitching career.
