A day after his doctor, Winston Dawes, declared Usain Bolt fit for the Olympic Games, the Jamaican 100m world-record holder indicated that he could gun for four track gold.

At the Beijing Games in 2004, Bolt had won three gold --- 100 and 200m as well as the 4x100m relay. On Friday, the 25-year-old Jamaican indicated that he could be running the 4x400m relay as well. Speaking to the media at a late-night press conference,

Bolt said that he would decide whether to compete in the 4X400m relay only after judging his performance in the 200m event. "I always see how I come out of the 200m before I decide, like if I'm tired etc," said Bolt, the Jamaican flag-bearer.

Bolt, who is already a legend after striking three gold at the Beijing Games, still feels that the word 'legend' would sit pretty on him only if he is able to defend the three titles in London.

The 6'5 giant, who is the cynosure of all eyes here, also confessed that losing twice to training partner and fellow Jamaican, Yohan Blake, at the Olympic trials back home was a dampener and not the ideal preparation.

Of late, there have been speculation about Bolt's preparedness for the Games, and what fanned rumors further was the Jamaican's visit to Germany to take advice from leading sports medicine expert, Dr Hans-Wilhelm Muller-Wohlfahrt.

In the run-up to the Games, Bolt withdrew from the Monaco Diamond League a week ago, fuelling reports that he was nursing a sore back and a niggling leg. But Dawes put an end to the rumors saying that Bolt is fine and raring to go.

"I just think people panic a little … I think that he can be reassured that he is fully back and that he will be there at his very best," Dawes told the media. Bolt too agreed at the press conference that he had been suffering from a back and hamstring problem and that the problems had been sorted.

"I'm ready to go," he said in his inimical style. Bolt has both the 100m (9.58sec) and 200m (19.19sec) records in his name and come August 4, when the 100m prelims start, the champion will be gunning for gold.

As the London Games begin there is huge pressure on the likes of star names like Usain Bolt and Michael Phelps, not to mention the host country Britain
