Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler expressed regret for bumping left tackle J'Marcus Webb during a huddle in the team's 23-10 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

"I probably shouldn't have bumped him. I'll go with that," Cutler said during his "Jay Cutler Show" on ESPN 1000.

Cutler, however, said he had no regret yelling at Webb, saying he did it to get him motivated.

The quarterback also refused to say whether he apologized to Webb for the incident but said they have talked. Cutler also spoke to every member of the offensive line to explain his side on the incident.

"It's in the past. We're moving on," Cutler said. "He's our left tackle. He's my left tackle. I expect him each and every week to play at a certain level, and I think he expects himself to play that well, too."

Webb, in his Facebook account, echoed Cutler's sentiment, saying it's time to move on and prepare for the Bears next game.

"There's nothing like having a bad game, but when you have it, you have to deal with it correctly. It's not how one deals with a win. How does one deal with a loss or bad game? I'm no different than you. Time to prepare. Go Bears," Webb said.

After being sacked for seven times, Cutler vented his ire on Webb, who allowed two of those sacks and was responsible for two pressures

Cornerback D.J. Moore came to Webb's rescue, saying it was wrong for Cutler to single out the left tackle.

"I just think it's wrong, honestly," Moore said. "I would feel some kind of way if he were to do me like that and make it seem like 'Well, the reason that I'm having a bad game is because what you're doing' and not me taking accountability for myself because I'm throwing these types of passes or doing this type of read."

Cutler said he heard Moore's comment but declined to answer, saying the cornerback is entitled to his own opinion.
