The Atlanta Falcons intercepted Peyton Manning three times in the first quarter and zoomed to an early 20-point lead before weathering a furious Denver Broncos' comeback, 27-21, Monday for their second straight win at Georgia Dome.

Falcons' playmaker Matt Ryan outplayed Manning, completing 24 of 36 heaves for 219 yards and two touchdowns, including the 100th of his career while Michael Turner rushed for 42 yards on 17 carries and one score.

Manning finished the game 24-for-37 for 241 yards and one touchdown but his passes in the Broncos' first three possessions were picked by the Falcons and turned into a 10-0 lead in the first quarter.

"I'd obviously like to have all three of them back," said Manning. "When I see the film, I'm sure I'll see someone open short underneath on the check down."

The Falcons extended their lead to 20-0 in the second quarter after Ryan's first touchdown of the game - a one-yard pass to tight end Tony Gonzales.

Manning then led a 13-play, 80-yard drive with time winding down in the second quarter capped by a 17-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Demaryius Thomas to trim the deficit to 20-7.

The Falcons opened the third quarter with Ryan's 100th career touchdown - a short four-yard pass to wide receiver Roddy White, who led Atlanta's receiving corps with 102 yards on eight receptions.

Manning tried to rally the Broncos by leading them to a 12-play, 96-yard drive that ended with a two-yard touchdown run by Willis McGahee to cut the deficit to 27-14.

Two drives later, Manning sparked a nine-play, 45-yard run capped by another touchdown run by McGahee to bring the Broncos closer, 21-27, with less than four minutes in the game.

The Falcons then picked up multiple first downs as time ran out to seal the victory.

McGahee led the Broncos rushers with 113 yards on 22 carries while Thomas tallied 78 catching yards on eight receptions.
