Quarterback Michael Vick hooked up with tight end Clay Harbor for a go-ahead TD pass with barely a minute left on the clock and the Philadelphia Eagles survived the Cleveland Browns, 17-16, in Sunday's opener at Cleveland Browns Stadium.

Vick overcame an error-marred season debut by delivering the game-winning TD pass with 1:18 seconds remaining to help the Eagles foil the upset-minded Browns.

Vick completed 29 of 56 passes for 317 yards with two touchdowns and four interceptions while running back LeSean McCoy covered 110 yards on 20 carries.

The Eagles took a 10-3 lead at the break but the Browns rallied in the second half behind two field-goal conversions from Phil Dawson and a 27-yard TD return by D'Qwell Jackson.

Trailing by 16-10 down the stretch, Vick powered the Eagles to a 91-yard drive and scored a TD on his 56th pass - the most he threw in a single game.

Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden completed 12 of 35 passes for 118 yards with four interceptions in his NFL debut.

Kurt Coleman and Rodgers-Cromartie each corralled two interceptions for the Eagles, who are set to take on Baltimore next Sunday.
