Rookies Dazzle in Browns Win Over Raiders

Brandon Weeden threw 25-for-36 for a career-high 364 yards with one TD and two interceptions and running back Trent Richardson score a crucial TD run in the fourth quarter as the Cleveland Browns upended the Oakland Raiders, 20-17, Sunday at O.co Coliseum.
The Browns captured their first back-to-back wins of the season behind stellar outings from their 2012 first-round picks.
Weeden, the 22nd overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, continued to post good numbers with the Browns after breaching the 300-yard mark in a single game for the first time in his pro career.
The former Oklahoma State Cowboys star also powered the game-clinching 94-yard drive while Alabama running back Trent Richardson capped it with a three-yard TD run to give the Browns a 20-10 lead with 3:27 left on the clock.
Raiders quarterback Carson Palmer cut the deficit to three, 20-17, after hooking up with Brandon Myers for a 17-yard TD play, but his effort was just too late to mount a comeback.
Palmer covered 351 yards on 34-for-54 passing with two TDs and one interception.
