Andrew Luck Signs Guaranteed Four-Year Deal with Colts

Indianapolis, IN
Quarterback Andrew Luck signed a four-year guaranteed deal worth $22.1 million with the Indianapolis Colts.
Luck, taken by the Colts with the No. 1 overall pick to replace Peyton Manning, will receive a signing bonus of $14.5 million. The contract also contains no offset language, according to a source.
The quarterback's agent and uncle, Will Wilson, confirmed Thursday the deal had been completed. The team also showed a picture of Luck signing the contract on its official website.
The Indianapolis Star reported that the Colts hold an option for a fifth year. Luck is set to join his Indianapolis teammates in training camp next week.
Luck's signing came a day after fellow quarterback Robert Griffin III, the No. 2 pick, signed a fully guaranteed four-year deal worth $21.1 million with the Washington Redskins. Like Luck, Griffin's contract has no offset language.
Luck, a two-time Heisman Trophy finalist in 2010 and 2011, left Stanford atop the record books in completion percentage (67 percent) and all-time touchdown passes (82).
He finished his collegiate career having completed 713-of-1,064 passes for 9,430 yards, 82 touchdowns and 22 interceptions. Luck also netted 957 rushing yards, the most ever gained by a Stanford quarterback.
Luck is the first Cardinal to amass more than 10,000 yards in total offense, as his 10,387 yards rank sixth in Pac-12 history. In 38 career games, he was responsible for 89 touchdowns and compiled a 31-7 record as a starter, including a 24-5 mark in conference games.
His 31 victories are the most a Stanford quarterback has recorded in a career.
He led the Cardinal to an 8-3 record vs. Top 25 teams, while playing under center for three of the most prolific offensive teams in school history. The 2011 squad produced 561 points, the seventh-highest total in the nation.
