The Tennessee Titans have found a new starting quarterback, signing former Buffalo Bills signal-caller Ryan Fitzpatrick to a two-year deal.
A source has confirmed Fitzpatrick's signing but said the deal won't become official until he passes a physical
Also, the source said details of the contract were not immediately available.
An eight-year veteran, Fitzpatrick was 308-of-505 passing for 3,400 yards, with 24 touchdowns and 16 interceptions last season before he was released by Bills last week.
Fitzpatrick is expected to take the starting spot vacated by Matt Hasselbeck, who was released by the Titans Monday.
Before the signing, Titans coach Mike Munchak and general manager Ruston Webster met with Fitzpatrick during the NFL owners meetings in Phoenix.
Hasselback, for his part, is close to signing a two-deal with the Indianapolis Colts.
The 38-year-old Hasselback is expected to mentor former No. 1 pick Andrew Luck.
