Quarterback Philip Rivers of the San Diego Chargers, defensive end Mario Williams of the Buffalo Bills and punt returner-wide receiver Trindon Holliday of the Denver Broncos are the AFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week for games played the second week of the 2013 NFL season.

Rivers completed 36 of 47 passes (76.6 percent) for 419 yards with three touchdowns and zero interceptions and a 124.3 passer rating in the Chargers' 33-30 win at Philadelphia.

His 124.3 passer rating ranked first in the AFC and second in the NFL in Week 2.

Williams' 4.5 sacks are the most in an NFL game since November 19, 2012 (ALDON SMITH, 5.5).
In his eighth season from North Carolina State, this is Williams' third career Defensive Player of the Week Award. He most recently won the award in 2007 (Week 15) with the Houston Texans.
He is the first Bills defensive end to win the award since 2006 (AARON SCHOBEL, Week 14).
