Broncos Wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, Jaguars linebacker Paul Posluszny and Ravens kicker Justin Tucker are the AFC Players of the Week for games played the 10th week of the NFL 2013 season
Offense: WR Demaryius Thomas, Denver Broncos
Thomas had seven receptions for 108 yards (15.4 average) with three touchdown catches in the Broncos' 28-20 win at San Diego.
Thomas' three touchdown catches were the most in the NFL in Week 10 and he tied for the most in a game in Broncos history. Pro Football Hall of Famer SHANNON SHARPE was the last Bronco to accomplish the feat on November 16, 2003 against San Diego.
Registered his 11th career game with 100+ receiving yards since entering the NFL in 2010.
Thomas is one of three Denver players with nine TD receptions this season (JULIUS THOMAS and WES WELKER).
The Broncos have scored 371 points this season, the most through the first nine games of a season in NFL history. The previous high was held by the 1950 Los Angeles Rams, who scored 358 points in their first nine games.
In his fourth season from Georgia Tech, this is Thomas' first career Offensive Player of the Week award.
He is the first Broncos wide receiver to win Offensive Player of the Week since Week 14 of the 2009 season (BRANDON MARSHALL).
Defense: LB Paul Posluszny, Jacksonville Jaguars
Posluszny registered eight tackles, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery in the Jaguars' 29-27 win at Tennessee. It was Jacksonville's first win of the 2013 season.
Posluszny forced a fumble on the first play of the game from scrimmage when Titans RB CHRIS JOHNSON ran to the right side for four yards before Posluszny knocked the ball free and fell on it to set up a MAURICE JONES-DREW six-yard TD run three plays later.
Played a pivotal role in a Jaguars defense that limited the Titans to 362 total yards.
Through Week 10, Posluszny leads the team with 88 tackles and is on pace to register 100 tackles for the sixth straight season.
In his seventh season from Penn State, this is Posluszny's first career Defensive Player of the Week Award.
He is the first Jaguar to earn Defensive Player of the Week honors since DARYL SMITH in 2010 (Week 1).
Special Teams: K Justin Tucker, Baltimore Ravens
Tucker converted both field-goal attempts (36, 46) in the Ravens' 20-17 overtime win over Cincinnati.
With 5:27 remaining in overtime, Tucker connected on a game-winning 46-yard field goal to lift the Ravens over the Bengals.
Recorded his fifth game-winning field goal since entering the NFL in 2012.
Registered eight of the Ravens' 20 points for the game.
Helped the Ravens improve to 18-6 (.750) in November under head coach JOHN HARBAUGH.
In his second season from Texas, this is Tucker's first career Special Teams Player of the Week Award. He is the first Raven to win Player of the Week honors this season.
He is the first Baltimore kicker to win Special Teams Player of the Week since MATT STOVER in 2007 (Week 6).
