Quarterback Tony Romo completed 19-of-31 passes for 279 yards and two touchdowns as the Dallas Cowboys cruised to a 23-13 victory against the Seattle Seahawks at Cowboys Stadium.

Romo overcame another rough start as he lifted his game at the right time with two touchdowns in the second half to help the Cowboys blow past the slumping Seahawks on their home turf.

With the game still tied at 6-6 after the break, Romo began to make his move as he hooked up with tight end Jason Witten for a 33-yard TD catch in the 8:47 mark of the third quarter.

Romo further padded the Cowboys' lead to 20-6 with a 6-yard TD pass to wideout Laurent Robinson in the 14:14 of the fourth quarter.

Kicker Dan Bailey sealed the win for the Cowboys with his third field goal as running back Marshawn Lynch's four-yard TD run was too late for the Seahawks.

Seahawks quarterback Tarvaris Jackson found himself in numerous sticky situations, completing 17-of-30 passes for 221 yards with no touchdowns and three interceptions.

The Cowboys covered 442 all-purpose yards, while the Seahawks settled for 381 all-purpose yards.

With the win, the Cowboys (4-4) improved to .500 on the season and will take on the surprising Buffalo Bills next Sunday.

The Seahawks (2-6) dropped their third straight game and are headed into another test against the Baltimore Ravens next week.
