Eli Manning threw a late touchdown pass to lead the New York Giants to a 20-17 victory over the Miami Dolphins Sunday afternoon.
Manning hit Victor Cruz for a 25-yard score with 5:58 To play to gIve the NFC East-leading Giants the win while keeping the floundering Dolphins winless.
Corey Webster clinched the victory with an interception with less than two minutes to go for the Giants (5-2), who have won five of their last six contests.
Manning completed 31-of-45 yards for 349 yards and two touchdowns.
The Dolphins (0-7) have now lost 10 in a row dating to last season but they entered the fourth quarter of this one with a 17-10 lead.
But the Fins couldn't hold on
Miami jumped on top on a 1-yard TD run by Steve Slaton in the first quarter and then grabbed a 14-3 lead 5 1/2 minutes into the second on a 1-yard TD run by quarterback Matt Moore.
Moore was 13-of-22 for 138 yards and Reggie Bush ran for 103 yards on 15 carries for Miami.
