Ryan Succop kicked a 30-yard field goal in overtime to lift the Kansas City Chiefs to a 23-20 victory over the San Diego Chargers Monday night.

The win extended the Chiefs' winning streak to four games following a three-game losing skid to open the season.

Kansas City, San Diego and Oakland are all tied for the AFC West lead at 4-3, the Chiefs have defeated both of their division rivals in the last two weeks.

Succop's overtime winner was his his third field goal of the game. It made the Chiefs (4-3) the first team to win four straight games after losing its first three of the season since the 2000 Pittsburgh Steelers.

San Diego (4-3), which trailed 13-3 at halftime, appeared headed for victory as it was driving for a game-winning field goal attempt in the final minute when Andy Studebaker recovered a fumbled snap by Philip Rivers.

The Chiefs nearly won it in regulation, putting together a late drive that was thwarted by Chargers saferty Eric Weddle, who came up with his second interception of the game at the San Diego 28 with six seconds left.

Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel was 19 of 32 for 261 yards and a touchdown. Rivers completed 26 of 41 passes for 369 yards but threw two interceptions.

Jackie Battle scored on a 1-yard touchdown run with 12 minutes left in the game to give the Chiefs a 20-12 lead.

San Diego responded as Curtis Brinkley rushed for a 2-yard score less than five minutes later and caught the two-point conversion to tie it up, 20-20.
