Aaron Rodgers threw three touchdown passes and the Green Bay Packers held on for a 33-27 victory over the Minnesota Vikings Sunday.

Rodgers finished with 335 yards passing for the Packers, who are 7-0 and have won a franchise record 13 straight games. The previous franchise record was12 consecutive wins set during the 1961-62 seasons.

Mason Crosby kicked three field goals – including a career-long 58-yarder – for the defending Super Bowl champions, who are the last unbeaten team in the NFL.

Green Bay took was down at the half but scored 20 unanswered points in the second half before Minnesota made a game of it.

Adrian Peterson ran for a season-high 175 yards and a touchdown for the Vikings (1-6), who are off to their worst start since 1990.

Rookie Christian Ponder got the start at quarterback and played pretty well. He threw a 24-yard touchdown pass to Michael Jenkins to cap a 93-yard drive and cut the Packers’ lead to 33-27 with 7:51 remaining.

Minnesota forced a three-and-out on Green Bay's next series, but a 64-yard punt by Tim Masthay pinned the Vikings at their own 2-yard line.

The Vikings were forced to punt and Green Bay was able to run out the clock as James Starks ran five straight times for 52 yards.
