Carlos Rogers picked off Eli Manning twice and Justin Smith batted away Manning's final pass attempt as the San Francisco 49ers got just enough from their offense to march to their seventh-straight victory, 27-20 over the New York Giants.

Rogers picked off an errant pass from Manning on the next Giants possession following the Niners first touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Kendall Hunter, filling in for an injured Frank Gore, ran it in for a score to make it 27-13. The Giants scored a touchdown on the following possession and converted two fourth downs on their final drive, but fell short on their third attempt.

Manning, who came in with a league-high 121.4 quarterback rating in the fourth quarter, finished 26-for-40 for 311 yards and two scores, but failed to engineer a comeback this time as he did vs. the Pats.

Alex Smith went 19-for-30 for 242 yards, an interception and a touchdown to Vernon Davis, who finished with three catches for 40 yards.

The Niners (8-1) have all but sealed up the NFC West, already five games ahead of the Seahawks and Cardinals, who they face next Sunday.

The Giants (6-3) made the NFC East a bit more intersting, now just one game ahead of the Dallas Cowboys. They host the disappointing 3-6 Eagles in Week 11.
