Alex Smith found DeMarco Murray for a 20-yard touchdown and fullback Mike Tolbert scored on a two-point conversion to give Team Rice a 22-21 win over Team Sanders in the first non-conference Pro Bowl Sunday at Aloha Stadium.
Down by a touchdown with one minute remaining in the game, Smith engineered a four-play, 26-yard drive that he capped with a scoring pass to Murray.
After a timeout, Team Rice decided to go for the lead. Tolbert then ran for two points to give Team Rice a one-point cushion with 30 seconds left on the clock.
With time running out, Nick Foles led Team Sanders to a four-play, 26-yard drive before they settled for a 67-yard field goal, which Justin Tucker missed, allowing Team Rice to run away with the victory.
The game featured multiple changes, including the format where Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders picked members of their teams over a two-day draft.
Nick Foles of Team Sanders was named offensive MVP, after completing seven of 10 passes for 89 yards and a touchdown. Derrick Johnson of Team Rice won the defensive award after recording nine solo tackles.
Smith went 9-for-22 for 116 yards and a touchdown with one interception, Philip Rivers passed for 92 yards with a score and two interceptions while Drew Brees completed nine of 19 passes for 81 yards and a touchdown with an interception for Team Rice.

Andrew Luck went 5-for-7 for 80 yards and a touchdown with an interception. Cam Newton completed eight of 17 throws for 95 yards and an interception and rushed for a score for Team Sanders.
DeSean Jackson put Team Sanders on the board when he caught a 36-yard touchdown pass from Luck in the first period.
In the second, Brees found Jimmy Graham for an eight-yard scoring pass to tie the game but Newton retaliated with a one-yard run to give Team Sanders a 14-7 advantage.

With time winding down, Rivers led Team Rice to a seven-play, 58-yard drive that he ended with a 10-yard pass to Josh Gordon to tie the game at the break.
In the fourth, Foles put Team Sanders ahead with a 12-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Cameron.
