Carlos Emory, Johnathan Loyd and Damyean Dotson combined for 35 of Oregon's 41 first-half points to help the Ducks break away early en route to a 78-69 triumph over No. 21 UCLA, clinching the Pac-12 trophy Saturday at MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Emory and Loyd scored 12 points apiece while Dotson added 11 in the first 20 minutes of play as the Ducks captured their third Pac-12 tournament crown.

Emory finished with 20 points while Loyd added 19 to win the tournament Most Valuable Player plum. Dotson recorded 13 points while Arsalan Kazemi had 12 points and 12 rebounds for the Ducks (26-8).

The Ducks shot 29-for-61 for 47.5 percent and 7-for-14 from three-point range, with three coming from Dotson and two apiece from Emory and Loyd.

Oregon outrebounded (35-27) and out-assisted (13-8) the Bruins, who made just 13-for-22 from the charity stripe.

Larry Drew II and Shabazz Muhammad scored 14 points apiece and Travis Wear had 13 as the Bruins (25-9) played without freshman Jordan Adams, who broke his right foot in the semifinal against No. 18 Arizona.

Kyle Anderson had 11 points while Normal Powell started for Adams and finished with 10 points.

A jumper and a three-pointer by Drew and a layup by Muhammad put the Bruins ahead, 12-4, 1ith 13:45 to play in the first half.

However, the Ducks outscored the Bruins, 21-7, in the next six minutes to take a 25-19 advantage that they extended to 41-32 at the break.

In the second half, four straight points by Muhammad brought the Bruins within 49-46 but the Ducks answered with an 11-6 run to make it 60-52, at the midway point of the second half.
