Atlanta, GA

Junior quarterback Tajh Boyd tossed two touchdown passes and Chandler Catanzaro buried the game-winning 37-yard field goal as time ran out to lift No. 14 Clemson to a nail-biting 25-24 win over No. 8 LSU in the Chick-fil-A Bowl at Georgia Dome.

Catanzaro's field goal capped a 10-play, 60-yard drive engineered by Boyd and completed Clemson's comeback from an 11-point deficit en route to their first bowl win since beating Kentucky, 21-13, in the 2009 Music City Bowl.

Clemson, which limited LSU to a single yard in the final period, finished its season with an 11-2 record while the Tigers settled for a 10-3 mark.

Boyd hit 36 of 50 passes for 346 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for another to capture the MVP award while DeAndre Hopkins had 13 catches for Chick-fil-A Bowl record 191 yards and two touchdowns.

DeAndre Hopkins has caught a touchdown pass in 10 straight games, breaking the ACC record of Virginia's Herman Moore, who caught a touchdown pass in nine straight games in 1990.

Hopkins finished the night with the school record for single-season receiving yards with 1,404.

With Boyd and Hopkins leading the charge, Clemson tallied a total of 437 yards compared to just 208 by LSU.

Zach Mettenberger completed 14 of 23 passes for 109 yards with a touchdown but he issued an interception and was sacked six times by Clemson.

Freshman running back Jeremy Hill tallied 125 yards on 12 carries and two scores but was a non-factor in the fourth quarter as he failed to deliver a single carry.

Hill started the game with a 17-yard touchdown run but Boyd tied the count less than five minutes later with an 11-yard scoring rush.

In the second, Mettenberger found Jarvis Landry for a six-yard touchdown pass before Boyd delivered an 11-yard scoring throw to Hopkins. However, Clemson failed to tie the game as its extra point attempt was blocked by LSU.

It was all LSU in the third period, with Hill scoring on a 57-yard run and Drew Alleman burying a 20-yard field goal for a 24-13 lead.

#14 Clemson beat #8 LSU 25-24 in the Chick-fil-A Bowl thanks to a last-second 37-yard field goal by Chandler Catanzaro. QB Tajh Boyd was the MVP with his three touchdown performance
