Hey guys welcome to The Fumble I'm Crystal Marie. In the first big upset of this year's NCAA tournament, UAB defeated Iowa State 60 to 59. Let's take a look at the greatest highlights from the game. UAB Junior guard Robert Brown's 3 point basket off an inbounds play with 50.6 seconds to play gave UAB a 56 to 55 lead, prompting a quick Iowa state timeout. UAB Freshman forward William Lee Drained a jumper with 23.6 seconds to play to give the Blazers a 1 point lead. And that's not all he did, Lee also hit a pair of free throws with 12.1 seconds left to secure the win for the Blazers. Robert Brown led the Blazers with 21 points while William Lee finished with 14 boards. Both teams traded leads throughout the game, including three lead changes in the final 50 seconds. But it was Brown's buckets down the stretch that helped the Blazers overcome the No. 3 seed in the South Region. They will play the winner of SMU and UCLA in the third round.
