Quarterback Collin Klein piled up 105 rushing yards and three touchdowns, while throwing for another 187 yards in powering Kansas State to a 27-21 win over Iowa State Saturday afternoon.
K-State improved to 6-0 and faces West Virginia next Saturday, while the Cyclones fell to 4-2.
Jared Barnett tossed a pair of touchdown passes in the opening half as Iowa State forged a 14-10 lead in the second quarter.
He hit Shontrelle Johnson on a 2 yard scoring strike and connected with Ernst Brun Jr. on a 30 yard scoring pass.
Collin Klein put the Wildcats ahead for good with scoring dashes of 6 and 12 yards late in the second and third quarters. His 2 yard romp gave the 'Cats a 10-7 lead in the second stanza.
Anthony Cantale booted field goals covering 41 and 25 yards, helping K-State stay perfect.
