Jack Taylor Nets Record 138 Points in Division III Hoops

Jack Taylor scored a Division III record 138 points for Grinell College in a 179-104 win over Faith Baptist Bible College.
The 5-10, 170-pound sophomore guard from Black River Falls, Wisconsin shot 52 out of 101 from the field, including 27-71 from beyond the 3-point area, in an Iowa school Division III school match up.
Taylor also connected 7 out of 10 attempts from the free throw line to help reach his 138 points.
He passed Clarence "Bevo" Francis' 113 points for Rio Grande College of Ohio vs. Hillside in 1954, which was both the NCAA and collegiate scoring mark.
Jack Taylor shattered the NCAA scoring record with 138 points, hoisting a mind-boggling 108 attempts in eclipsing the previous record by 25 points
