Rocker husband and wife Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani wowed the audience Saturday night at the 23rd Annual KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas at Gibson Amphitheatre when they sang a surprise duet of Bush's new song 'Glycerine.'

Rossdale broke into the song with his guitar and sang the first verse. His lovely wife Gwen then emerged on the stage to sing the second verse, which sent the audience wild. They finished the song together and sealed their performance with a tender kiss.

After the show, the Bush front man told Rolling Stone magazine, "She actually asked me about this and I was so surprised, I didn't say anything for two days. She said, 'Maybe we should do a song together.' And I couldn't answer her."

"I thought it would be so powerful, the two of us on stage like that, that's what we went for. This is the culmination of two years of work, and then to finish it off playing here, in this venue, this full circle thing, it was an incredible night," he said.

The couple met 17 years ago in a dressing room at the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas so this event is a truly historical and sentimental moment for the two. The rocker couple married in 2002 has two children together, Kingston and Zuma.
