Boston, MA

Dave Bolland netted the go-ahead goal with 59 seconds left in the game as the Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Boston Bruins, 3-2, in Game 6 to win the Stanley Cup at Boston's TD Garden.

Brian Bickell tied the game with 1:16 remaining in the third period while Bolland clinched it with 58.3 seconds to play as the Blackhawks won for the second time in four seasons.

Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford made 23 saves while Jonathan Toews added another goal for the Blackhawks, who also won the Cup in 1934, 1938, 1961 and 2010.

The 2013 Blackhawks are the fourth team to win the Presidents' Trophy and Stanley Cup since 2000. The 2008 Detroit Red Wings were the last to do that.

Goalie Tuukka Rask gave up three goals on 31 shots while Milan Lucic and Chris Kelly scored as the Bruins played without Patrice Bergeron, who was injured in Game 5.

Lucic gave the Bruins the lead with a shot from the slot off a feed from David Krejci, who finished as the leading scorer in the Stanley Cup Playoffs with 26 points, including and 17 assists.

Toews tied the game at 1-1 early in the second period with a snap shot from the left circle off a 2-on-1 rush with Patrick Kane.

It was an even-strength goal, but Chicago center Andrew Shaw was released from the penalty box the moment Toews' shot beat Rask at 4:24.

Meanwhile, Patrick Kane bagged the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP, after leading the Blackhawks in scoring with 19 points on nine goals and 10 assists. He tallied nine points in his final 10 playoff games.

"I tell you what, it's a [heck] of an achievement. I think it speaks more for my team than myself personally," Kane said. "Playing with great players, it was the best year of my life, just playing with these guys."
