Zach Randolph had 27 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Memphis Grizzlies over the Los Angeles Clippers 94-82 in Game 3 of their playoff series at the FedEx Forum.

He also grabbed six offensive rebounds and was nine for 10 from the free-throw line.

Marc Gasol added 16 points and eight rebounds for the Grizzlies.

"Tonight we focused on rebounding. We had 17 offensive rebounds. We got it in the post, high-low. I got shots in the inside. That's our game," Randolph said about himself and Gasol.

The Grizzlies showed improvement in several key areas of the game.

They outrebounded the Clippers for the first time in this series, 45-33. Their 17 offensive rebounds mentioned by Randolph were more than they grabbed in the first two games combined.

They also scored more in the paint, 40-26, and produced 22 second-chance points while giving up only four themselves.

Furthermore, they caused the Clippers to turn the ball over a series-high 18 times, five by Chris Paul.

The Grizzlies took control in the first quarter with Randolph hitting four of his first five shots and all five free throws for 13 points in the quarter.

The Grizzlies outscored the Clippers 23-20 in the first quarter and 24-19 in the second, taking a 47-39 lead into halftime.

Memphis' lead grew to 14 a couple times in the third, the last at 68-54 on a pair of free throws by Quincy Pondexter with 1:22 left.

The Clippers then went on a 10-2 run with back-to-back 3s by Jamal Crawford and Lamar Odom. Ronny Turiaf dunked to pull the Clippers to 70-64 with 11:04 to go. They got as close as 74-69 with 8:39 left on a pair of free throws by Matt Barnes.

But the Grizzlies outscored the Clippers 15-4 in the next six minutes to push the lead to 89-73 with 2:47 left.

Blake Griffin scored 16 points for the Clippers.Barnes had 12, Chauncey Billups 11, and Crawford and Caron Butler 10. Paul had eight points on 4-of-11 shooting and added six assists.
