London, England (August 10, 2012)

The next two days of track and field at the London Olympic Games will see finals of the men’s and women’s 4x100m and 4x400m relays as Team USA looks to continue building toward one of its highest medal totals ever.

Serving as a preview for relays competition for the London Games and part of USA Track & Field’s High Performance Plan, in April members of the current American Olympic team took part in the annual USA vs. The World at the Penn Relays competition. In the 13th edition of the event, Team USA put together the most dominating performance in the history of meet, sweeping all six races against teams from Great Britain, Jamaica, Russia, Kenya and Ethiopia, among others.

In an effort to preview the upcoming Olympic relay finals and to relive the excitement of Team USA’s dominant performance at USA vs. The World, USA Track & Field uploaded this video to its Facebook page complete with interviews and race footage from a rainy April day at Franklin Field.
